meaningful change
At the core of The Transitional Journal is a profound understanding of change not as a linear process, but as an unpredictable, often disorienting reality. Founded by Rosemary Collier PhD, a distinguished C-suite and Board-level organizational development consultant, the Transitional Journal is not just a tool but a stabilizing force for individuals and organizations navigating transition.
With over 20 years of global experience across Europe, the US, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, Rosemary has led complex change initiatives, restructured organizations, and coached senior leadership teams to build high-performance cultures. Her expertise spans organizational change, leadership development, and talent management, guiding organizations through major transformations, cultural shifts, and leadership transitions. Drawing on deep knowledge of adult development, psychology, and organizational behavior, she specializes in translating abstract change theories into practical, sustainable solutions, ensuring that transformation is not just planned but truly internalized and lived.
Her deep academic and professional credentials including a Professional Doctorate, an MSc in Management (Organizational Behaviour) from Trinity College Dublin, and certifications in executive coaching, mediation, and consultancy, inform the structured yet adaptable approach of The Transitional Journal.
A new approach to
navigating change
The inspiration behind The Transitional Journal emerged not from theory alone, but from experience—both personal and professional. While leading change in high-stakes environments, Rosemary recognized a recurring challenge: people don’t struggle most with strategy, but with the emotional and psychological turbulence of transition. Drawing from research in adult development, psychology, and organizational behavior, she created a tool that serves as more than a journal. It is a transitional object that provides stability, self-awareness, and structure in times of uncertainty.
More than a journal,
a tool for transition
The Transitional Journal is not about self-improvement or tracking progress. It is about anchoring individuals and teams through transition, providing a structured space to process change without the pressure to have all the answers. Whether used by individuals navigating career and life shifts or by organizations undergoing structural and cultural change, the Transitional Journal is a tangible tool that transforms resistance into engagement, uncertainty into clarity, and disruption into renewal.
Rather than relying on abstract models, The Transitional Journal is built on practical, evidence-based methodologies that support individuals and organizations in working through transition in a meaningful way. It provides a framework for structured reflection, helping turn uncertainty into clarity and resistance into engagement.

It’s like therapy on paper. The journal helped me understand my emotions, track my progress, and find a sense of relief I didn’t expect.
